How to Apply a Screen Protector for Your Neocore Tablet

  1. Prepare Your Workspace:

    • Choose a clean, dust-free area.
    • Wash your hands to remove oils and dirt.

  2. Clean the Tablet Screen:

    • Use a microfiber cloth/paper towel to remove dust and smudges.
    • Ensure the screen is completely clean.

  3. Optional: Lightly Spray Water:

    • Lightly mist the screen with water. This helps in positioning the protector correctly and reduces air bubbles.

  4. Apply the Screen Protector:

    • Peel off the adhesive backing.
    • Starting from one end, slowly lower the protector onto the screen, keeping it aligned.

  5. Smooth Out Air Bubbles:

    • Use a card or squeegee to press the protector from the center outwards, pushing out air bubbles.

Flimsy hard to put on

Some patience needed methinks

First off I wouldn't suggest starting to fit from one end. Start by locating the hole for the front camera and use that as a guide for aligning the film. Also I'd trim off the little extra tab on one corner of the film before starting, otherwise it'll overhang the screen and easily get caught and start peeling the thing off.

I took a lot of care cleaning the screen, spraying lightly with water, feeding the film down very slowly while scraping the air out with a new credit card. Still wound up with bubbles trapped that took a lot of work to push out to the edge.

T'aint perfect but acceptable and does reduced the reflections, hopefully any bubbles will not be noticeable in use.. early days yet.
